The Brentwood Museum is a small, independent museum located in the town of Brentwood, Essex, England. The museum showcases the history and heritage of Brentwood and its surrounding areas, with exhibits on the town's development, industry, and community. The collection includes artifacts, photographs, and documents that tell the story of Brentwood's past, from its Roman roots to its modern-day culture. The museum also features temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year, making it a great destination for both locals and tourists interested in learning about the region's rich history.
For such a small museum it is full of objects and local history. It was definitely a walk down memory lane for my friends and I. The Volunteers we met gave us some of the history of the museum and answered questions. By prior arrangement, the museum and cemetery were opened specially for us. I recommend this for any group as there's not much space in each room.
This is an interesting place tucked away behind some flats. There is a lot of history here. It's an open cemetery with the Brentwood museum at the side of the cemetery. Respectfully maintained and some interesting historical facts and value
Only a few small rooms but well worth seeing. The volunteers are so knowledgeable. No tickets but will take donations
