Located just off Boxalls Lane, in Aldershot, Hampshire, is probably one of the British Isles smallest and least known country parks. (Unless you know of one under 8 acres!) Reclaimed from the remains of a Victorian brickworks and clay diggings, Brickfields Country Park is a peaceful, natural park, known only by local residents and a few in the know - and now you! . . . . Brickfields Country Park is maintained by The Friends of Brickfields Country Park in conjunction with Rushmoor Borough Council, The Friends group were formed in 1992 by several local residents wanting to become involved in the upkeep and protection of their local wildlife amenity. The group is now in their 26th year, and operates under license from Rushmoor Borough Council
Lovely little park, I must have met half the dogs in town.
Quiet area with lots of greenery. Serene.
Even though it is a small park, it is still a lovely place in which to walk. There are places to sit and it is an ideal place to read a book. There is a nice pond where one can see lots of ducks and geese.
Neat little park in the midst of a fairly busy neighbourhood. Almost like a green oasis. Pleasant place to relax. No entry fee. Parking available close by. Nice visit.
A beautiful little country park. Lots of microhabitats for wildlife. Incredibly friendly ducks and rocks for the children to climb. It's small but it's very pleasant. Lots of hidden trails to play in
Very small, not really a country park and don't come here for a day out! But it has a great area and a small pond which is good for short dog walks. And there is a picnic bench if you wanted to spend a little longer there. No facilities but there is a shop just across the road.
