One of the UK's Top 10 leisure and entertainment destinations, the iconic Grade II listed pleasure pier is brim-full of activities, rides and drinking & dining opportunities, sure to make your trip to this buzzing seaside resort a memorable one.
Very busy on the Sunday night we arrived. Costs a pound per person to get onto the pier. The atmosphere is fun. The food is great. The warm donuts are delicious and not too expensive. We each had a slush and they were over priced, small, and not very good. The guy running it made us wait while he spoke to a couple buddies. The rides are pretty costly. As such we only rode the carousel, the carousel was fine. The views are beautiful, but it's very disappointing that you can't stand on the end of the pier. There's a ride there. If only there was a little pathway to get around there to experience more of the pier. That's what I was there for. The views, not to spend money on rides and arcade games. The rocks on the beach are hard to walk in, definitely no romantic walks on the beach here. Overal we had a nice time though.
A piece of British seaside history and an iconic Brighton landmark. Opened in 1899 this 125 year old Pier is a must to visit when in Brighton. Just PS1 per person to get access to the pier you can simply go for a walk along its length taking in the views of Brighton seafront as you go. Or play in the arcades or get tickets to ride the funfair. There are deckchairs where you can just people watch, and restaurants and food stalls for fish and chips, doughnuts, candyfloss and much more. A real piece of history and fun place to spend a couple of hours when at the seaside.
We took our daughter to the pier yesterday as a before school treat to have some one on one time without her sibling. I picked up at residents card as have a BN postcode which was easy and straightforward. However once there it went downhill. Went and bought a wristband for her which are 2 for 1 and the lady at desk checked her height and said she would be able to go on 3 extra rides if we got an adult as she was hitting 1.1M! Went straight to the haunted ride and she was told she wasn't quite there so couldn't go on it (this was one of the 3 we were told she could go on) then tried another, no again. In the end went over to the little kids rides where there were 5 members of staff stood there and she went on the car ride, then I went to go on the ride next to it, stood right there where the 5 girls stood there who worked there looking at us so I said we want to go on and they took longer deciding between them who was going to do it for us... then the seats were wet (it hadn't been raining that day so maybe go round and wipe the seats before anyone comes to the ride so I don't have to ask you for some tissue to do so myself) then after that we went on the up and down one which the bloke working on there was lovely. We saw the restaurant which had milkshakes on the menus and menu on the wall said the same thing so told daughter she could have a milkshake and then we're told that that is an old menu (there were no new menus either and it was on the walls!!) they don't do milkshakes so had to get something completely different. As we stood up to walk out of there after having a drink there was a giant crowbar on the table next to us too just for anyone to come and grab. Went and got some PS5 pick and mix in a bag and left. Won't be returning in a rush what a disappointment, should have just spent PS15 on a couple of rides as could barely use anything which would of been fine if we weren't mislead.
I have been to Brighton Beach before many years ago, big different now. Very busy with many people during this summer months. We went for a walk on the Brighton Pier, one of the oldest and most impressive piers in the UK. It is over a hundred years old, but still going strong. A waterfront theme park offering with rides, restaurants, arcades, and activities for everyone to enjoy.
Large selection of rides, arcades and food outlets. PS1 entry during Summer. PS32pp for Unlimited ride pass. Large outdoor screen at Horatios Bar. Great for all ages. No parking.
A beautiful pier, a perfect place for a walk on a sunny day. There are several kiosks selling snacks, sweets or ice cream, a small restaurant with a beautiful terrace and an amusement park.
