Unlock the Secrets of Broadway, Where History Comes to Life We have exhibitions arranged throughout our beautiful historic 17th century building. We share the story of Broadway's coaching history and the so called Broadway Colony of Creativity including John Singer Sargent's connections to our village, both stories showcasing Broadway as a travel destination now and throughout history. The top floor also boasts a children's play area craft room and sensory room. A children's trail runs throughout the museum
This is a marvellous place. We visited with two young children and they really enjoyed the experience. There's a first class play and craft area and the exhibits are fascinating. There's a lot about the history of the area as well as its connections to the art world. It benefits from a close association with the Ashmolean in Oxford and shows loaned artworks. The staff were so friendly and helpful, too.
Visited the museum Sat 18th May 2024. Very impressed. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean toilet. 3 floors of interesting local historic exhibits and beautiful paintings. The 3rd floor was a children's play area. Well worth a visit.
amazing amazing amazing place such lovely man and lady who runs the place and really good value for money fabulous place inside and out i could spend here all day and night if I had the chance just love historic places and history i love the way it was spotless clean really informative and intriguing as well really well run place just loved it such lovely lady and gentleman. Would definitely come back here and its highly recommended as well
Very interesting blend of exhibits and very friendly helpful staff
We visited the colourscapes exhibit on broadway green. The exhibition was well managed, and a sensory experience. I can honestly say the highlight of my week. I would recommend booking any tickets in advance.
Given the PS5 entrance fee and the links to the Ashmolean I was expecting more than what was on offer. This looks and feels like a council museum in a poor district. The displays that are available are good but the rooms are sparsely filled. Given how busy the village was on a summer weekend it should have been a clear sign of what to expect that there were no other people in the museum.
