Nature walks amongst native trees and ponds, plus exhibitions, craft workshops, talks and cafe.
Lovely little cafe at the entrance of Brocks Hill Country Park. Large indoor seating area which has been recently extended - very light and airy. Plus an enclosed outdoor area. Good selection of light refreshments, including sandwiches and cakes. Helpful and friendly staff.
Brocks Hill Country Park is a pleasant place to visit. With paths taking you around the site (that are apparently wheelchair accessible) you can have some calming walk. If you're visiting with kids there's a den building area at the side of one of the walks but of more immediate interest to them will be the play areas near the visitor centre. There's a smaller, fenced area for younger children and a larger play area with lots of climbing frames, swings etc for older children. There's a cafe and toilets in the visitor centre, as well as an exhibition space.
Fantastic place for children or just take a walk, it's informative/free and has several awesome features that I highly recommend, 2 different parks a small one for toddlers and a bigger one for older children it features everything from swings to climbing apparatus to a very large slide, it also has a zip line. Round the back of the park there is a large wooded area full of branches twigs and large pieces of wood where children and adults can build fantastic "dens" out of all the materials, there is also a reasonably priced cafe and a great gift shop full of interesting little wooden toys and trinkets, highly recommended on a nice sunny day with an icecream
Great for dog walks but cafe not dog friendly
It's a lovely place for walking the Dog & stopping for a very good coffee at the visitor Centre. Will mention that you now have to pay for parking which is SHOCKING. Oadby Council are raking it in.
Always nice experience while taking dog for walk. Nicely maintained and friendly visitors. Plenty of parking
On-site services
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
