This 7.25-inch narrow-gauge railway is a popular attraction in Cornwall, offering a scenic ride through the beautiful Brockwell Park. The railway features a variety of locomotives, including steam, diesel, and petrol-powered trains, which haul a fleet of intricately designed coaches. As visitors ride the rails, they can take in the park's picturesque surroundings, including its lush gardens, tranquil lakes, and walking trails. The railway also hosts special events throughout the year, such as themed trains and Santa specials, making it a fun and festive experience for visitors of all ages.
It's a really small track with 2 miniature trains. My 2 year old loved it. We went on it multiple times. If you have a little one especially fascinated by trains like mine it's worth the visit. There was also a funfair the day we visited and a beautiful park.
Cool place for little ones (kids) there also a fish shop and also train model shops too including a garden centre and good foods that filled you up throughout the day!
What an institution - come out and support the team and help expand Brockwell's miniature railway! We held my child's fourth birthday party here - it was brilliant. Absolutely love them.
All good, but sometimes it serves only birthday parties, and you have no chance to ride with your kid.
Had a brill day at brockwell park minature railway june 20th 2021.
Fabulous trip on the railway for PS1 return. Friendly staff (Derek was full of interesting info). Great little gift shop too. Bit of a mess with the queueing system as you buy your ticket before boarding and peeps just ploughed on. However, you don't have to wait long. My 5 year old nephew seemed to enjoy himself (although I think I enjoyed it more).
On-site services
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
