Great scenery, lovely rugged walk but not much in the way of waterfall (summertime). More a trickle. But I would imagine in the ten months when it rains a lot this more than likely lives up to its billing. I will return after more rain.
A beautiful and tranquil location just outside of Howarth. Gorgeous scenery but not for the faint hearted as its quite a trek. The water looks clear and apart from a few sheep, it was quiet. I'd loved to have had more info on the Bronte families connection there but it didn't stop me enjoying it.
The waterfall is small but the walk is great! So many sheep around, your shoes may end up a bit dirtied on their excrement. But the views make up for it. Wear sunscreen and bring a jacket!
A lovely countryside walk that is not too difficult. Took us about an hour 15 to get to the falls after pottering about in the lovely town of Haworth.
Amazing walk, especially on a sunny day, but even if it rain (as it did on our walk) the views and the atmosphere is just breathtaking! I would recommend this to any Wuthering Heights fan, or anyone who is just looking for a bit of nature, untouched by technology. As a plus you'll probably encounter many sheep just casually staring at you or crossing the road. If the weather permits do take the path leading across the moors not just around, it's well worth it!
Lovely little walk through the countryside of Howorth to reach a beautiful waterfall. We noticed there were several other tracks that lead to the waterfall from other areas but aren't sure where they started. We parked at the end of a road and walked through the fields of sheep.
