Buchan Country Park is 170 acres of beautiful countryside right on Crawley's doorstep. Buchan Country Park has won the Green Flag Award, which recognises the best green spaces in the UK, every year since 2010. The Park is an excellent place for walking, watching wildlife or enjoying a picnic. We have a number of sculptures dotted around the park which families can have fun hunting for. Animals to look out for include dragonflies, Nightjar, Great Crested Grebe, Adder and Grass Snake.
Lovely place to spend the day walking around the beautiful woods and enjoying the scenery. Plenty to do and very dog friendly with dog dipping area's at the ponds and plenty of different routes to enjoy.
Lovely walk, not too taxing. Water is nice and calm. Shame there were some teenagers in a split group that were screaming across the lake and ruined the calm. But the scenery is nice and other than that, was very relaxing. Would recommend for a little trip out and would be nice with a picnic
