Fun daily activities for everyone to enjoy! Very much a working farm, each visit promises a new, exciting adventure with new arrivals throughout the year, baby lambs in spring, goat kids, rabbits and guinea pigs to cuddle and piglets to meet. Over 100 deer that can be fed and seen from our tractors rides. Brand new indoor play barn suitable for children up to about 10 years of age. Large area of outdoor play facilities for all ages. The park provides a wealth of educational visit opportunities, particularly for primary school children. Safari tents tucked away into our lovely woodlands for weekend stays with the family and friends.
It was our first visit in 20 years with our children and now with their children. A good welcome and a lovely fresh coffee with good service while we waited for allbto arrive. The animal park had changed little in the time. The soft play area though was a hit and seemingly well run. The Deer Park tractor and trailer run was another hit, for both adults and children alike was a little too brief; it was also difficult to hear the stories about the various herds. Overall, it's not a full day out, and for what was offered was somewhat costly.
Such a wonderful and happy place the animals are well cared for and it's fun feeding all the goats! Highly recommend the "guinea pig fishing" and so cute to go in lamb season. The deer feeding and talks are incredible too. Lovely cafe and a great little shop at the end. I'll be back again!
Great place to take the children - although we loved it as adults! The tractor ride to see and feed the deer was excellent! Well looked after animals, fun park and indoor activity centre with slides - excellent fun! Good cafe too
Thos place is worth visiting for the deer safari alone which was simply magical!. There are plenty of fun play areas for kids lots of animals to feed. Yhe staff are very friendly and helpful. The shop is lovely. This is well worth the money. You get 5imed slots when you enter that you can select for both the tractor ride deer safari and a great soft play barn.
** EDIT ** nearly 3 weeks later we're still waiting for our deposit to be returned despite various excuses/promises. Had expected better. 1 start deducted. Second visit (stayed 2 nights - 4 adults and 5 kids 5-15). All had a great time helped by great weather, good facilities and helpful, friendly staff.
Had a great time glamping here. The tents are awesome - very large inside with a log burner, kitchen with running water, hot water shower and flushing loo. Each tent also gets its own BBQ. No electricity but that's ok since plenty of candles (and plugs around the main farm bit if need to charge phones etc). Kids also had a great time with all the activities at the farm.
