Rural, 15-inch gauge steam railway offering 18-mile round trips, kids' events and a station cafe.
Plenty of parking. Excellent shop in Aylsham - must be a toy train fan's idea of heaven. Cafe has lots of space, excellent coffee and a range of cakes including lemon drizzle scones. Friendly and helpful staff. The journey to Wroxham is pleasant on the tiny train, although views are restricted due to hedges.
A great weekend visit! A sweet train ride that was about 45 minutes. The cabins are relatively small but fit 4 adults well. You can buy a dog ticket but you don't get extra space. Knees will be touching in some cabins.
Great narrow gauge railway with steam engine. Expensive at PS22 per adult but fathers went free over the Fathers Day weekend. You get to have a good look at the steam engine and even better at Wroxham where you get to see the engine turn around. It's good fun to sit in the small old and old carriages. Although expensive, it's good to know the money goes towards keeping this line open. The gift shop at Aylsham has a large range of model trains and accessories for sale.
Absolutely brilliant - fun ride, feels really fast as it's a miniature too. Lovely engines, and brilliant volunteers. I lost a small tripod I use loads on the train, and they made sure to find it and give it back. It is worth noting that they clean out the carriages between trips, so if you get on the same compartment on the way there and back then take all your items, but an absolutely brilliant place.
A great little stream train. Takes about 35-40mins to the final stop, but it is really worth it. Loved this place
Would have been nice to be aware if you're disabled then you can board train with your mobility scooter. I didn't and arrived at Wroxham but was unable to get to town centre as the distance was too great for me to walk - lesson learnt for the future

Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Getting tickets in advance recommended
Good for kids
