Butterfly education and preservation centre with meadow gardens, a cafe, shop and a kid's play area.
Really enjoyable day in the sunshine seeing the butterflies my daughter loved the sand area and slides and wooden rope bridge lots of areas to have picnics or a nice cafe and shop lots of lovely walking areas with 18 gardens to view we enjoyed it and would definitely come back. My daughter enjoyed the stained glass effect butterfly making also face painting available and insect house and big slides and climbing frames for bigger children :)
Many fun activities for kids of all ages: actual butterflies in a smallish glass house, decorative gardens, a "music meadow" of music making sculptures the kids can play with, huge play grounds and a cafe. Scheduled book readings and insect touching activities. Plenty of free parking. Search online for discount vouchers.
An excellent day out for all the family - the insect house and butterfly house are both fascinating. When you've finished enjoying those, there are some fantastic gardens to explore and a well-equipped play area.
Really nice butterfly house, nice walks around, and a park for the kids. Good educational benefit with several small exhibits they have. Can be a little pricy but they usually have offers on if you look for them.
Nice place, if a little small. There's also an ant room, which I found far more interesting.
Kids loved it, especially the sessions with creepy crawlies. It could do with a little more to it though overall.
