Beautiful little park - lovely place to sit and eat my lunch. And all the wildflower meadows are fantastic for wildlife.
Nice green area for fog walking, games, picnics, exercise.
Fun at the circus, granddaughter loved it
Very nice park with plenty of shaded areas to get out of the sun (if it decides to make an appearance!). Only downside is how easy it is to get onto the busy road from the park so adventurous children might need extra supervision.
It's a big green space so good for excercise, dog walking, family picnics and games. However there aren't any toilets here.
Pleasant open 11 acre grassed space, with a avenue of Lime trees on one side, Hitchin Town football club and Hitchin on two other sides. In previous centuries it was used for archery. The name refers to the archery butts that used to be on it during the Late Medieval and Tudor Times.
