About

Bwlch Mountain is a prominent hill in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Powys, Wales. It stands at a height of 532 metres (1,745 ft) and is a popular spot for hiking and hillwalking. The mountain offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, including the valleys of the River Usk and the River Wye. On a clear day, it's possible to see as far as the Bristol Channel and the mountains of England. The hill is covered in heather and bracken, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including red kites, buzzards, and peregrine falcons. The summit is marked by a trig point, and the hill is often incorporated into longer walks and hikes in the Brecon Beacons.
