This tranquil nature reserve features a picturesque reservoir surrounded by lush greenery and walking trails, offering a serene escape for visitors to connect with nature and spot local wildlife.
This is a beautiful place to go for a walk. You can do a whole circle walk of the reservoir and walk up to the old canal and walk up into Wendover and back down. Lots of birds and very peaceful. Sometimes the sail boats are out on the water, and it is also a members only fishing lake I believe and in case you want to know there are no cafes or toilets here, you would have to walk into Wendover. But parking is free in a laybay just outside the main entrance to the reservoir.
Fantastic place. Great for dogs walks. Bike rides. Runs. Walks and picnic. Very calming. Can swim in the lake. There's a boating club. Fishing club. Parking is a lay by on the public road
A great place to go for a quiet walk. Tucked away on the fringes of Weston Turville, Halton and Wendover villages, it's beautiful and serene. Lots of birds to watch and occasionally some anglers too. Can feel cold on the banks as my mum did that afternoon! You can do a circular walk, but the path is a bit muddy in patches.
Good wild walk, not crowded. Half path through wooded area. One minus is the path in places gets muddy
Such a wonderful place to visit lake and surrounding.....
Really beautiful location with lots of birds. Some lovely little decks to sit and watch the sunset from.
