I cycle to the top quite regularly. Once at the top there are great views of the surrounding area and on a clear day the skyscrapers in London can be seen on the horizon. Plenty of trails to cycle down if you feeling adventurous. House of the Dragon S1 E3 was filmed around here.
My favourite place to walk my energetic pomeranian. He loves this place, we regularly come here as you can walk miles and different routes every time.
Lots of lovely walks, some flat and some hilly with lots of mud n stones. Lovely views, lots of water for doggies to play in, some of the reservoirs have fishermen so beware. Watch out for the army training, can suddenly pop up from behind a bush, camouflaged very well! My dog is nervous of the rifle fire so I need to be careful where I walk - oh and the occasional cows!! Various places to park along the edges (check out Google maps).
