This 10-acre farm in Scotland's Fife region offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Explore the massive maize maze, which changes design every year, and get lost in its twists and turns. The farm also features a play area with trampolines, a petting zoo, and a farm shop selling fresh produce and local products. Take a tractor-drawn trailer ride around the farm, visit the butterfly house, and enjoy the picnic areas and cafe serving homemade treats.
Always loved Cairnie over the years. Huge play area for kids. Lots of selection in the cafe, cakes are amazing. Fruit and pumpkin picking are worth trying with the kids but can be expensive. Dog friendly with large area for dogs to run around but they are not allowed in kids play area.
My kids always love it here but I'll never really understand why adults have to pay entry for the pleasure of standing around and watching the kids play. I'd be happier to pay a bit more for the kids entry than for us. The tractor ride is super fun and the kids love the trampolines. The go karts need sorting though, loads don't work and they are all pretty old and rickety now. We had a nice day nonetheless.
Nice, we picked strawberry and bought. We also tried the cafe outdoor, we had a wonderful hour. If you have little kids, it is a perfect place to spend the day.
We only had an hour before closing time but, my kids had loads of fun picking fresh strawberries and then jumping their hearts out in the playing area. I think our family finished one punnet together. Before we even left the place!
We love coming back to this place! So much fun for kids picking their own fruits but also the fun yard! Great for grown-ups as well, with a cafe to relax.. Lovely and welcoming staff!
Great fun day out with my 4 year old son. Lots of fun equipment in the play park and quite reasonably priced for what's on offer. Brilliant little tractor and trailer rides included. On this occasion due to the poor summer we've been having there wasn't much fruit on offer at the PYO but that's just circumstantial. However good coffee and cakes on offer in the main shop with pre picked fruit available to purchase. Good quality strawberries and the apple pie was amazing. Ice cream trailer selling tubs and cones were also good value for money and tasty. For us it's a once a year visit and always worth the drive from Edinburgh. If you get the weather it's also nicely situated for a quick visit to St Andrews aswel.
