We had a great experience here, so much fun. We fed Alpacas, goats and Reindeer. We held lots of fluffy animals and some not so furry ones too. They have a really sweet shop too where they don't rip you off like other places. We want to book again in a few weeks with our older children as they're desperate to meet the reindeer
My partner and I returned to Caithness Animal Farm Park today after visiting a year ago. There's no other place we wanted to take our nieces and their mum. A family run park with an abundance of fun activities; the care, love and devotion this family show to their animals is a huge reason we love the place so much. We will absolutely be making this an annual activity, if not more frequently when we can! A beautiful local charity who has considered and adapted their activities for all ages and abilities. With a welcoming atmosphere, you will leave more educated in local and exotic animals and with a deeper appreciation for those who dedicate their lives to the care of them. Thank you for another stunning day and wonderful memories!
A highly recommended experience for children and adults alike. Leanne & Paul met us on arrival, welcomed us and then gave us a very personal one to one tour around their animal farm. They showed very genuine care & attention and gauged it well. The animals are very well loved and looked after, and it was great to handle them.. I cannot recommend it highly enough and Leanne & Paul have put a lot of thought into the layout, extras of toys games and a trampoline , and go over and above on their tours to give children the best experience ever. We will be back again soon and tell everyone to visit as it was just fabulous!
We booked and weren't sure what to expect as hadn't heard of it before so went with an open mind and we were really pleasantly surprised! We were really warmly welcomed, and were straight in about it feeding the alpacas, goats and reindeer. The team are all really reassuring that the animals won't hurt you and I think that helped the younger ones with us feel confident in getting involved. After feeding the bigger animals, we were guided to the barn where they brought out the smaller animals for a visit - guinea pigs, a rabbit, a tortoise, gecko and many more! Oh and, much to my horror but the kids delight, a tarantula! The team were really encouraging for everyone to touch and hold the animals but they absolutely take your lead and make no fuss at all if you're not keen. Lots of knowledge about each of the animals and you can tell they're all very well cared for. Then the kids all got to play on the bouncy castle and do a bit of colouring if they wanted to. Definitely would recommend and we will be back!
Absolutely fantastic thankyou for making the kids and the big kids holiday, it was amazing seeing all the Animals getting one to one contact and too hold them we can't wait to come back
Absolutely fantastic experience. Greeted at the gates by a wonderfully friendly family. Best 10 quid we ever spent on an activity for the whole family. Great range of animals with all the opportunity to stroke and feed them. We weren't rushed through with our time slot and we were given detailed information about each animal we were shown. They even offered to take photos and videos on our phones so we could relive the amazing moments. Such as feeding reindeer, having a snake or gecko on us, feeding goats, alpacas, and a giant pig. Would definitely recommend it and will be going again when we venture north next time.
