Cale Park is a scenic valley in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, characterized by its picturesque limestone cliffs, rolling green hills, and serene atmosphere. The park is dotted with ancient woodland, sparkling streams, and an abundance of wildlife, making it a haven for nature lovers and hikers. Visitors can explore the park's many trails, including the popular Pennine Way, and take in the breathtaking views from the summit of Ingleborough Mountain.
Lovely park and playground just off the A303. We stopped en route as a break for small kids (1 & 2) and the playground had a section they loved, there were picnic tables in the playground on grass, under trees. There was a section for older kids and an open grass park area, even a big stream and a couple of bridges to watch from. The cafe is really nice and has great facilities, it's about 100m from the playground. There is also a public loo in the car park.
Lovely park sections for older kids/teens with a great skate park and basketball court area and a playground that caters incredibly well for younger. In-between is a lot of lovely green and a nice coffee is available too. It really is Ideal.
This was a lovely find, a great place for our mutt to have a play and a lovely cafe to have a late breakfast which was lovely. The cafe is dog friendly and the staff are lovely. We will definitely return.
Loved our visit to Cale Park; beautiful park with fantastic playground with lots of choice for the kids including little sand diggers and buckets for collection which the kids loved. Nice cafe within the park with friendly staff and easy, free parking. Adding to our favourites
Came back here as I used to go to the cale mini town in 2019 and occasionally went to the playground. I forgot how great this place is the zip wire is the best size for kids to get on (with a little help my 6 year old manages it rather than full lift onto it The Cafe also done really nicely and it's really good value and the staff are lovely
