On Saturday 29th July I made my first ever visit to the Cambrian Heritage Railway in Oswestry. I can only say, WOW. All of the volunteers on duty that day were a credit to themselves. Totally professional and very helpful. A great little Railway with plenty to see and do. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area or a keen enthusiast.
It was my first visit here. It's great to see all the hard work put in by the friendly and helpful volunteers. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to return .
Great day out. Staff were friendly. Great to see the line brought back in to use. Long may they continue
Brand new station where can get a heritage train to Oswestry, you can get tea and snacks in a old coach, the station is right next to a very good brew pub,
Super little railway - really lovely people, and a plan to make it a bigger affair down the track. The station at Weston is next to a micro brewery and distillery so would make a good activity whilst you're there.
Lovely trip on the santa train. Great santa and elves. Good gift. Would have given 5 stars however it was a bit cold on the train, issues with electrics in the cafe at weston wharf and could do with one or two more things to keep the kids occupied while waiting for the train back. Overall great though and would book again
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
