Perfect location for a walk or a boat trip on the Regent's Canal. Quiet and peaceful around the canal, but very busy at the market. Some find it chaotic and crowded, yet Camden is one of the 'must-see' destinations in London. I have been here many times!
Visited July 2022, weather was great, area is beautiful. Bit of a culture shock, so many people but also so many nationalities! Came home fully aware of the hype around Camden and why people love it so much. So much to see, I recommend an entire weekend to get the full picture! Made new friends and made fantastic memories. Highly recommend at least one visit... oh and make a note of saying high to #Zombiepunk4 on Camden Lock bridge!
The bridge over the canal is the perfect perch to watch the barges easing by as well as the rush and flurry of the market. Buzz or gentle contemplation: you get to choose!
5star rating. Lovely day day spent with the family at Camden Lock Regents Canal. The weather was perfect with blue sky and blazing sun which made the canal boat ride even more enjoyable. The street food is priced so affordable and different options for all to feast on. Plenty of restrooms around so don't worry about waiting in line for long which always helps too Would fully recommend getting yourself, family and friends to have a great day out.
Great spot for a walk, when in London
Good luck social distancing here, feels good to walk along the river, though you might not get that from photos
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
