This 250-acre park features a stunning Georgian country house, beautiful gardens, and a tranquil lake. The hall, built in 1765, showcases exquisite architecture and houses an impressive art collection. Visitors can explore the opulent interior, including the grand staircase, ornate ceilings, and lavishly decorated rooms. The surrounding gardens boast vibrant flowerbeds, walking trails, and a picturesque lake, perfect for leisurely strolls or picnics. The park also offers a playground, woodland walks, and a variety of wildlife, making it an ideal destination for families and nature lovers alike.
Lovely place for a gentle walk round. Lovely Lake and grounds with woodland. The monster walk in particular is delightful. Loads more to see and do including visits to the house, farm and garden centre Also plenty of choices to sit and eat both indoor and outdoor.
Well maintained gardens and lake. Repairs taking place to the Hall so it is covered in scaffolding at present. Plenty of parking. Excellent cafes and also shops at the Farm
Always a lovely walk few laps on cooler days, nice paths so you can use pushchair or wheelchair, park for children, various ice cream places and food/drink van. Always go to the farm shop for the best pies etc.
Only visited the pet plaque cemetery but I have been before and it was great. A good day out for all the family with a good cafe. You can go for free but if you want to see the animals it cost you. The hall itself and grounds are free for you to walk round.
First time I've been what a beautiful place to go if you haven't been great for family's well anyone who likes animals
