The tour route was very pretty, and our punter was informative, cool, and funny. Sebastian was our punter. You could tell he was a genuine history buff and has spent a lot of time on the water here. He also plays D&D, so bonus points. The boat was comfortable and stable and the price was decent.
We went on a really hot day this week and loved it. Lane was our guide and he gave it 110%! He was so knowledgeable and made it super interesting and fun. The punters look really dapper in their outfits. Those just add to the old-world charm of the experience. We very much enjoyed it. Thanks Lane!!! Tip him well folks as he gives it his all.
Best tour punting boat to go on your trip to Canterbury! The most beautiful scenes of Canterbury's historic city on the River Stour. Our tour guide / Punter: Laine made for an entertaining tour, full of humour and lots of interesting information about Canterbury's history that I will certainly remember. The tour boat is comfortable and it was a smooth ride along the picturesque canal. We also had our toy poodle on the boat and they were very dog friendly, it was perfectly roomy for him too. I would definitely come back to do the punting tour all over again.
Great way to see Canterbury from another angle. Tom was a great punter, and we enjoyed the tour. Reason for the four stars is that it felt quite expensive (PS50 for 2).
It is the second time we go with a punting boat and it was absolutely amazing. Lane(the bold guy :)) was absolutely amazing at giving us information about the river Stour and the history of the buildings surrounding it and also the Cathedral. Lane's sense of humour is great too and he is a good looking guy as well:) We had a lovely time and we will surely come again. Keep up the great job guys.
We visited Canterbury today and took this tour on the spur of the moment. The company were very well organised and all of the guides looked very smart which we thought was an extra nice touch. Our tour started dead on time with Sebastian as our tour guide. Sebastian provided lots of interesting information in a way that was both engaging and fun. Great job Sebastian! Very highly recommended - thanks to CPC for a great tour.
