We toured 5 distillery's in a day this was by far our favorite. The story and history really come to life. The tour guide was outstanding as well as the staff in the store. They are not a pretentious distillery like another one I won't name...and Cardhu Scotch is better anyways. This is my new favorite Scotch for many reasons.
Had a wonderful visit and whisky tasting! The guide was very nice and took us through the making process but also shared about the history - the first (and only) female made/led distillery in Scotland! The whisky was delicious and we had great cocktails. My mom was driving so she was able to take away the whisky samples with her to try at home. 100% recommend

Allison shared a wealth of information on the process and the whiskeys we drank - including a delicious cocktail and drams to go for the driver!
Did the distillery tour earlier this week and it was superb. From the moment you drive up to the distillery and see the delightful scenic setting to arriving at the beautiful visitor centre with the lovely, friendly staff it is a first class experience. We were given the tour by Alison who was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The film at the beginning was a great way of getting a sense of the story of Cardhu and the tour was full of different ways of getting information across, not just verbally like most tours tend to be. Tasting the whisky at the end was the icing on the cake and i went home with a couple of purchases to enjoy in the coming weeks! Well done to all the staff at Cardhu for making this a really great experience. Thoroughly recommended.
Very nice tour of this 200 year distillery! Happy anniversary. A great welcome as well from the friendly staff. Worth taking the trip a bit off the main road, with beautiful views.
Me and my dad did the distillery tour last week on our trip to Scotland, it was fantastic. To our surprise we literally had Alison all to ourselves as noone else was on the tour. She was superb, knowledgeable, professional and honest. We went on another tour afterwards and they didn't 100% seem to believe in the history of there brand and origins of the fantastic products, Cardhu did and we believed you could also feel the passion through Alison. We couldn't recommend this tour enough, with delicious drams at the end in the stunning bar. Thank you Alison
