This Iron Age hillfort occupies a prominent position on a ridge overlooking the surrounding countryside. The fort is roughly oval in shape, measuring approximately 180 meters by 120 meters, and is surrounded by a single rampart and ditch. The rampart is constructed from earth and stone, with a height of up to 2 meters in some areas. The ditch is V-shaped and varies in depth, with some sections being quite shallow while others are up to 1.5 meters deep. There are two original entrances, one on the northwest side and one on the southeast side, both of which are marked by causeways across the ditch. The interior of the fort is relatively flat, with some slight undulations, and there are no visible signs of buildings or other features.
