A picturesque beach with soft, golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, surrounded by rugged limestone cliffs and scenic coastal paths, offering stunning views of the Irish Sea and the distant Mountains of Mourne.
I have been here a few times before but I got to see it with loads of sun and no wind, fantastic place. Dogs love it too and alough their does be plenty of people walking their own dogs I have had no issues in regards to aggressive dogs or even leaving poop on the beach so it's a lovely place with decent people, 10/10 would go again
Wow! What a stunning beach! Clean with amazing seas...what more can you ask for? Particularly spectacular at sunset :)
This visit was unplanned as we were traveling from Londonderry to Belfast by train. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The seaside felt safe. It was crowded, clean and enjoyable beach. You can also park your car near to the beach. We kept our luggage at a cafe right next to the train station. Upon our return, we had sandwich toasts at the same cafe, and they were truly delicious. I highly recommend this beach to anyone planning a family trip or looking to have an enjoyable time at sea.
Beautiful beach with fine sand, the stretch is less than a mile long. Nice place to take your dogs or just walk on a nice day.
Great beaxh. I like that you cannot drive onto the beach on the left side. They allow cars on the other side. We walked from one side to the other side and even saw 2 small dolphins from the peer. Excellent beach for a great family day out.
Lovely place, public toilets very close to the beach... Nice fish and chips and ice cream is well!
