Fantastic park! Loads to see and do. The lakeside with the water activities and the castle overlooking it all is like something from a movie. Stunning visually! The maze is lots of fun & there's a play park too, as well as a coffee truck, ice cream van, toilet facilities. Will definitely be back!
Castlewellan Forest Park is an amazing outdoor recreational park. Whether you are into mountain biking hiking or kayaking, they have you covered. You are also able to rent bikes and kayaks. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice day trip in the area.

Love this place. I go paddle boarding on the lake. You don't have to pay to use your own but you can also rent from the adventure centre which is onsite
1 of favourite at the moment ,lake soo clean, area looked after, ot you want walk the trails, or kayaking, peace maze for kids amazing. What a treasure
Beautiful walk through woodland and around the lake. Approx 1 hour 15 mins. Although we stopped for a picnic looking over the lake.
