The Award winning Centenary park (big park) opened in 2015 boosting 11 Acres of green space situated within the South Downs National Park, it's the perfect place to start a walk or ride, to stop and play or to take advantage of our Gateway Cafe. The park has two magical playgrounds that will keep your little ones entertained for hours. The toddler playground with its giant wood carved dragon, a peek a boo wall and the adventure playground for older children boasting a magnificent acorn tower and the biggest swing you've ever seen! The park also has the Zero Degrees state of the art Skate Park. Suitable for scooters, bikes, or traditional skaters, children from 5-50 have great fun here. Features include a skateable sundial, deep bowls.
Lovely morning doing the parkrun in the park - fab course to the run which is 3 laps of the park a fantastic bunch of volunteers made me feel very welcome - a very nice cafe for coffee and cakes afterwards- will definitely go again
This is a great park for all ages and dogs and their humans too. It's well away from roads so completely safe. The cafe is amazing, good quality food and great coffee at reasonable prices, and they even do doggy ice cream . It ticks all the boxes.
Great Park, loads of equipment for kids to play on. Relatively clean and parking close by.
Nice big park. Plenty here for the kids to do. One of the biggest parks around for miles. A really nice cafe here. My only downside is that it is usually pretty busy, it always seems to be windy here and some of the park is starting to look a bit tired now.
Lovely park, equipment all in good nick and perfect for different ages Cafe on site perfect for a sit down and refuel, (hot food and drinks on offer- large range) toilets small but fit for purpose
A fabulous place if you have kids. There's a great big wooden playground where children can swing, climb, hang, dig and more. We were there for almost 2 hours and my 5 and 6 year olds had plenty more to see and do. There's also a smaller playground right next to it which I think would be great for 3 and under. There's less stuff with a crawler as he just wanted to eat things on the ground and loved to crawl straight into the path of danger but there are baby swings. There's a cafe a few moments away which serves a great selection of hot food and vegan and vegetarian options too. We got a couple of full English breakfasts (toast, delicious fried mushrooms, hash brown, baked beans, 2 rashers of bacon), a kids hot dog, 2 kids sausage chips and beans, a veggie bake, halloumi fries and a bottle of water. The bill came to just over PS40 which I think is pretty reasonable. There's also an amazing looking selection of cakes but we didn't get a chance to try. Oh, and the hot chocolate gets a thumbs up from me (and as you know, I'm a big fan and critic of hot chocs!) - mainly due to the generous amount of cream and marshmallows. But it also tasted great.
