Regenerated urban park, now with huge mirror pool, 100 fountains, light projectors and mist effects.
This place is really something. Excellent place for kids in the summertime. Take a towel and a change of clothes for the kids to play in the pool. Admire the Grade 1 listed Town Hall building, with all the Kings and Queens, except for the current ones. The new One City building is now completed, which fits in nicely with the road improvement works. Visit the library when you're there, especially with the little ones. They do storytime on Saturday mornings. There are lots of restaurants to choose from if you're hungry.
Its very nice place, especially on the summer you can go with your children and enjoy it, there was a big Fountain and the children can enjoy with the water on the summer.
For me, it's my happy place, it's secure you can walk and sit, and I can see people strolling and some relaxing on the benches enjoying the weather and kids playing around near water fountains. There are many food places around but my favourite is a library and next is Starbucks so grab some coffee and read a book.
awesome and busy place, every single thing of daily need is accessible on walking distance.
First time visiting Bradford on a nice sunny Friday afternoon, council car park about 8-10 minutes walk away. Relatively busy & clean, enjoyed wandering the narrow & meandering streets. Road traffic was heavy at times, the numerous roadworks didn't help. Wasn't bothered by any antisocial behaviour, lots of shops & food places to see & try.
We love coming down when the weather is fine. Kids love playing in the fountains. There's a good range of places to get food and drinks and It's always tidy and well kept too.
