There is no Central Park in the United Kingdom. Central Park is a large public park in Manhattan, New York City, USA. It is an 843-acre green oasis in the middle of the bustling city, featuring several lakes, walking trails, gardens, and monuments. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including boating, biking, and picnicking, as well as attend concerts and events at the park's many venues. The park is also home to the Central Park Zoo and Conservatory Garden, and offers stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
Nice play area for kids and a handy cafe nearby for snacks. Grounds are well kept.
Spent 4 hours in Chelmsford lovely place friendly people, great indoor market, plenty of shopping precincts and a wonderful park with a great cafe, great day out for all
Lovely park , always has lovely flower displays and is kept in good condition. The big pond with water features is beautiful. It has a lovely little dog friendly cafe , with public toilets at the back . Would be really nice to add a small splash park for children .
Lovely park, great place to relax, suits everybody. Dog- friendly. Love the location, easy to get to interested places nearby.
I was in Chelmsford for a few days in September to drop my daughter at Writtle University. I'd not stepped foot in Chelmsford before, but nice place. Central Park runs right through the town, and along the river. Its got some nicely landscaped areas in the center and some great walks, we went as far as Writtle. The whole park is well kept, nicely landscaped, attractive, and feels safe. There's a well marked and segregated pedestrian and bicycle lane that runs along the river. The park was well used, but is so big it didn't feel busy. There's a few coffee shops and play areas, and on the day we were there, there was a fun run in the morning, and a 'Beats and Eats' festival in the afternoon. Festival was great! Not sure how often they run events at the park, but this was a good afternoon out. Hit the thumbs up if this was helpful
