We're on a mission to change the way the world thinks about English wines. At our home in the Garden of England, our skilled winemakers, with unrivalled understanding of terroir, are inspired by contemporary winemaking techniques to bring you award-winning sparkling and still wines. Elegant, balanced, and rich with fruit character, we invite you to raise a glass of England's finest. We welcome members of the public to join us at our winery estate in Tenterden, Kent, for guided tours and experiences with our team of passionate wine experts. Learn the process of winemaking from grape to glass, enjoy a guided tour around our vineyards, or treat yourself to a delicious meal at our onsite restaurant.
A very informative two hour tour of the vineyards and winery process. Interesting facts and entertaining anecdotes given by our guide, Archie. Well worth the visit. The wine samples were all excellent.
Did a tour & wine tasting here on 9th July. Tour guide Andrew was very good & made the whole experience fun. The wines were good & staff very friendly. Lovely patio to sit & enjoy a glass or two after the tasting & also a very well stocked shop.
We had a wonderful, early evening tour of the vineyard. Andrew was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine-tasting and delicious 3-course meal in The Swan on-site restaurant afterwards. Would thoroughly recommend the Luxury Dining Experience as we also came home with a complimentary bottle of bubbly!
Was a first time visitor to Chapel Down on 25 July. Andrew, our guide, was exceptional, explaining the history of Chapel Down and English wine more generally along with the wine making process from planting the vines to bottling the wine. The tasting included a generous selection including some of Chapel Down's best wines with Andrew providing good information about the individual wines. We completed our visit with lunch at the excellent on site restaurant, The Swan. All in all a fabulous day
Had a tour today with my husband. Martin the tour guide knew his stuff and kept us engaged. The wine tasting was fun! Would recommend
Had a great time here. Great collection and lovely souvenirs! Staff was super friendly! We found it tough to get on a public transport so had to book an expensive cab from the town. I would suggest you either drive yourself or book a cab in advance.
