This 15-acre park features a playground, skate park, basketball court, and football pitches, as well as a pond, walking trails, and a variety of plant and animal life.
Great area, plenty of green space and trees and plants to keep you entertained or relaxed. Also there the crags behind it which great for rough walking or running and mountain bike trails.
Went for a lovely autumn walk this morning. Beautiful colours and peaceful. The playground has been revamped so much better. We also found a few random fairy doors along the paths too, which was a great fun for the children.
Good park, bike park and kids playground. Did not see a place to park and it looks konda abandoned.. Its still an interesting place though. Nice scenery as well.
Lovely place for a walk or to take the kids for a run about in the playground. There's a little track for bikes which my 4 year old grandson loved. There are toilets at the bottom of the park which is a bonus.
Great views and plenty of space for children and adults, has a lot of varied things to do and from there you can go cycling or walking to other destinations.
A lovely park which links to the trans-pennine trail and is really close to the town centre
