This tranquil oasis in the heart of the English countryside is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. The meadows are ablaze with vibrant wildflowers in the summer, attracting a diverse range of butterflies and bees. The gentle rustle of the wind through the tall grasses and the sweet songs of birds create a soothing melody that calms the mind and lifts the spirit. As the seasons change, the meadows transform into a kaleidoscope of autumn hues, with the golden glow of sunset casting a warm ambiance over the landscape.
Large and crowded park, especially on weekends. At the beginning of the park, you can go down to the water and look at the huge swans. If you reach the end of the park, you will find a beautiful bridge through which you can cross to the other side of Worcester over the River Severn. It is advisable to come not at rush hour, otherwise there are really a lot of people
Beautiful little meadow with views of the Cathedral. From certain view points you could easily be back in the medieval times with modern buildings covered with greenery and just the steeples popping up over the trees.
Wocester is such a beautiful clean city, I'd certainly go back again. Outstanding area of natural beauty.
Love doing the circuit of the river and seeing the city from different angles
We really love visiting Chapter Meadow's however eveytime we go walking we get lost and end up either back tracking or having to walk back into the town by the road. We do not seem to have found a circular walk even though we follow the Monarch Walk signs the last one leading us to walk through a tunnel under the road and then we had to walk back through the houses. But we still love going there.
Beautiful fields within walking distance if Worcester town. Good range of field butterflies. Great areas to walk dogs. Only drawback ( for me anyway) is the occasional times there's a bull or cows occupying the well fenced fields. Although the Farmer does put up signs to say that they may be there, it needs to be visually verified.
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
