Compact museum telling the story of the local area through its archaeology and natural phenomena.
Great place lots to do very educational and hands-on/ interactive for children and free donations are very welcome
A small museum but very interesting and there's a lovely children's play area. Free entry and there is a cafe, shop and toilets on site. Certainly very well made and keeps children's interest
Beautiful park and amazing museum. So interesting. Lots about past industries in Loughborough, archaeological history of the area, nature and much more. Such a pleasant surprise. Two hours of looking at exhibits and reading information. Nice cappuccino and sandwich in the cafe too!
Free admission, child-friendly. The venue is fairly small but plenty to look at and a few activities dotted around to keep children entertained and engaged. Isn't overly busy. Small cafe just next to the museum.
Finally visited this local museum Lots of histories to read about and very good for kids as well Will come back whenever we are back to Loughborough
A lovely little museum with information covering many topics. Free entry. Park cafe to the side with some outdoor seating area overlooking the beautiful plant filled park. Carillon and band stand nearby.
