This farmyard and adventure playground offers a fun-filled day out for families with children. Explore the farmyard and get up close to friendly farm animals, including pigs, goats, and sheep. Take a tractor-trailer ride around the farm and enjoy the play areas, including a giant sandpit, climbing frames, and a mini-maze. The adventure playground features rope bridges, slides, and towers, while younger kids can enjoy the soft play area and sensory room.
Our favorite place for a family vacation. The kids love coming here every time. It is clean, there is a toilet and a cafe. Always fresh food and drinks. There are also toilets with warm and cold water. I really like the new playground that opened this spring. There are also many interesting animals that you can feed (on the farm you can buy food for the animals). There is also a playground with sand. There is a place for children to ride on cars/tractors. There are separate classrooms where various classes are held for children of different ages. the farm can accommodate up to 1 thousand children and their parents every week . Here you can also pet hamsters and watch how a goat is milked/children and adults love this
Lovely working farm with a range of sheep goats horses cows chickens and pigs within clean animal areas with clear instructions which you can stroke and feed. Lots of babies at this time of year. Regular Guinea pig petting times! Adjacent are a fabulous large woodland children's play area, in with the price, Acres of grounds of Chatsworth are available to explore for free including woodlands, the river, the wife estate... and the wonderful Chatsworth house restaurant and gardens are accessible for an additional fee. There is a garden centre on the estate which has quality plants and a lovely cafe.
A nice afternoon spent at the farmyard and playground. However a bit disappointed with range and quantity of farmyard animals. Only took us 10/15 minutes to go around the whole area.
There are many adorable lambs and baby sheep, as well as some deer and wild ducks. It's suitable for children to visit and play.
We had a day out with the family, we have been there many times, last weekend was the first day open to the public after the Christmas break... new structures have been built in the playground, very solid and safe...
We had a fantastic time! The staff that work here really make the place we learnt loads about the chicks and got too pet some other small animals. There isn't loads to feed so I probably wouldn't recommend buying the feed. The adventure playground is having new things put in over the next few years but it was fantastic for my toddler.
