A lovely section of the Chesterfield Canal with plenty of places for boats to stop. Paths are suitable for dog walkers and bikes. Lots of history to read on the information boards, like the stone quarried for the Houses of Parliament travelled down the canal. Lots of interesting locks too.
A lovely area right next to the canal. Some lovely houses along the edge. Several locks to pass. Perfect for runners, cyclists and dog walkers. You can make this walk as long or as short as you wish, but its thoroughly beautiful. Do check out the local marina area.
Great place for a stroll along the canal. You do need to dodge a few cyclists, but it's a very relaxing place.
