We are a small children's vintage fairground Our family business has been entertaining generations of children since 1976!
Amazing day with my beautiful nieces, they really enjoy themselves, so many rides on one place.
My father brought me here regularly as a child and I wanted to bring my 9 year-old son here for nostalgia for dad and I, and to show my son. We live in Bournemouth so it's quite a trek. I checked Google before we set off and it stated it was open. I drove the three of us from Bournemouth to Southampton, parked in the only car park that I could find which is at the sports centre, some way away from the park. There was no sign pointing the way to the park, luckily I had my phone to look on the map. We walked the long path all the way to the park (quite a walk for my dad), only to find it wasn't open. Disappointment all around. Perhaps you could update your Google open / closed status daily, and put signs from the sports centre car park pointing the way.
It's so cool, feels like you're stepping back in time! Was quite busy when we were there and only 2 staff working so was sort of hanging around a while for the rides too start and there was no water for a hot drink which was a bit pants! Other then that its a lovely little park.
Ahh what can I say? We had a lovely time here at the children's pleasure park! The two guys were friendly and helpful, great with the kids! PS10 for 16 tokens, the slides are 1 token for 4 rides, the kids loved it! Even my 13 year old niece had fun! Yes it's old fashioned but that's the charm! It's a calm, quaint, relaxed children's park! If you're wanting fast paced thrill rides do not come here. I would recommend this place to anyone with a younger family or the oldies that are young at heart!! They sell ice-cream, cold and hot drinks, there is even a ladies talking bench! They're coming up to their 50th year soon, let's keep this place going!
has a retro look and only take cash (owner said they are looking to get a card machine due to covid and all that). kids had a fabulous time ... people running this place are very polite and helpful! When we went it was possibly the hottest day ... but there were places where you could sit in the shed.
Extremely hard to find! Postcode gets you nowhere close and all google directions try to take you down roads not open to vehicles. The only place to park is the sports complex and there are no obvious signs or directions really from there so it was a gamble to walk the 10 minutes from there. Its a slightly overcast day and it's closed at 230pm when we took the 10 minute walk from the car park to get here. It does say on the gate 'weather permitting' but not anywhere else! It looks good from the outside but we obviously werent able to actually attend.
