This 18th-century farmhouse features a collection of vintage tractors, cars, and motorcycles, as well as exhibits on rural life, farming, and the history of the local area.
Wow! Such a lovely day out! Couldn't recommend enough, the staff were amazing, farmer Dave especially is a true credit to the company. The facilities were all lovely and clean and all the animals are clearly well looked after. We were there as 2 adults with a 10 year old and were there the whole morning/afternoon so well worth the money. Will definitely be back in the future!
A great day out with our 3yr old. Plenty to do indoors and outdoors. Fantastic indoor play area right by the cafe. Food a little expensive but very nice. All the animals looked happy and well cared for and staff were friend knowledgeable. Tractor ride costs PS1 pp extra, but a nice touch. We visited during Easter holidays and park got busy later in the day so getting there early is advisable, but that may have been due to lambing and feeding lambs making it a popular month to visit. Carpark was muddy and I would advise taking walking shoes/wellies. (Not the farms fault- you're going to a farm park after all!) Lovely gift shop, well worth a look! All in all a fantastic day out. Could have spent many more hours there. Thanks for a great day out Church Farm.
We visited Church Farm this weekend during the "Lambing Live" season and had a thoroughly great time - even getting fortunate enough to see a lamb being born! It was just myself and my partner (both who love animals) but we were welcomed just as much as the families with their children. There are comments on other reviews around how the pricing could be revised, but personally I feel that children and adults being the same price levels the playing field as for many interactive elements children are given priority (and rightly so), and so they tend to get more out of the day than the adults. The animals are really well looked after and really placid, there are plenty of pens which you are welcomed to enter, but with a "safe zone" for the animals to get out of the thick of it should they need a break. To get the most out of our visit we also went on one of the Tractor rides with Farmer Wayne - what a character! The ride was 20 minutes long and we were crying with laughter for [at least] 15 of those minutes. I'd highly recommend Church Farm to anyone with an affinity to farming and/or animals. We will be back with out niece and nephews in the future for sure!
Loved our day here with being able to be up and close with the animals. Indoor and outdoor play areas are large too. Tractor ride was an added bonus for PS1 too!
This was the happiest farm I've ever seen, with huge green fields for the animals and private spaces for the ones in the petting zones who are done being touched. For the people, plenty of activities indoor and outside in addition to clean areas for petting/hugging and hand washing stations throughout. The inside area was very hot so next time we'll wear lighter layers. Our only mistake though was not showing up earlier, as my 4 year old didn't think 3 hours was enough time!
Easily the best farm and activities centre I have ever visited in the UK. You can actually get in many of the enclosures with a wide variety of small and larger animals and engage with them, there are a plethora of activities and playground areas for children, plenty of parking spaces, closer accessible and disabled parking spaces , level access throughout, a lovely cafe (although not a huge amount of vegan choices, and a great gift shop.
