I've been here on numerous occasions for a meal. The staff are friendly and always had great service. I've ordered various items from the menu, and I've never been disappointed with the food. I've always reserved a table in advance.
Food, service and staff Fab. Car park entrance awkward and small. Gardens are beautiful. Booking advised.
We were here for an 80th birthday party and the food was delicious, well presented and very reasonably priced! The service was brilliant and staff were very friendly and funny! I was amazed to learn the staff were all volunteers who run the restaurant and upkeep of the house - which has been beautifully decorated. Will definitely be returning next time I am in Great Harwood. Can't recommend it enough.
Lovely setting. I had jam roll poly (suet) it was nostalgia in a bowl... extremely nice staff... It's worth a visit...Will definitely be going again
Called in for coffee, after a cold morning walk and what a gem this building was,it turned out that it was in the process of being restored by the local historical society, we were given a tour of upstairs rooms in the process of being restored. Apart from that there's excellent service and coffee, can highly recommend.
Excellent service and food. I was really surprised when I found out that all who work there are volunteers. They do an admirable job.
