Just the right amount of information. The historic spaces are set up well and provide good details on what they represent. The museum is full of interesting artifacts and knowledge. The museum does not come a notice to just explore in a clockwise direction, but I prefer a more organized path although I believe I saw all the exhibits. The Churchill trivia was appropriate difficulty. The kids tour was very good for the museum section as it had scavenger hunt type items so they were engaged in looking through everything to find what they wanted. A note the exit location is slightly different than the entrance.

This is a very cool tour. It's expensive, but it's a piece of real war history right in the centre of London and highly worth the time. One of the most interesting things I saw there was the original number 10 Downing Street oak door that was used from 1735 to 1980s. Fascinating to see the small subterranean rooms and passageways that were the seat of the war cabinet during the blitz. Allow about two hours to explore at a leisurely pace. You are given an audio guide as part of the entrance fee so you can move along and listen to narrations about each part of the tour.

Very worth a stop. The war rooms were nicely done. They still had maps pinned in their original locations with original pins. Wow! Also, the museum for Churchill was incredible. Very cool to learn more about him and see his personal items like his infamous hat and cigar. Fantastic Cafe as well!

One word!!! Go see this! Ok that's three...Waited all my life and we spent three hours just slowly reading the notes with the displays and watching videos. Just imagining how much stress and success and sweat, blood and tears.... Cannot fathom the significance of what went on in these rooms. Definitely GO and see this. Almost like a right of passage in world history. WW2 pinnacle of the stories. The glue that joined the world in defeating abject evil. We spent three hours there and could've easily spent 8. But I'm a serious history buff. Especially Churchill and WE2 anything. Amazing spot. Long lines and it was raining but I didn't care. Loved this experience. Bought tickets in advance for a time slot of entry but people who showed up without tickets got I ahead of us. Kind of ticked me off. But I am such a Churchill fan I didn't let that affect my opinion of the content, layout, flow and impression of this museum. Highly recommend going to this. Won't be disappointed if you are in the slightest interested in this type of history.

I absolutely loved my visit to the War rooms, The exhibits are brilliant and the audio guide is amazing. I particularly liked the Churchill museum and the wall lined with photos of the War with speakers that would activate to play speech quotations The gift shop is a tad bit generic in its selection.

Had a work meeting inside the Churchill War Rooms in Whitehall, so I availed myself for a tour. Wonderful glimpse into the nerve centre of Churchill's war effort and the amazing work of those that were stationed there. Using communication methods that were a world away from our modern systems, were an incredible feat. A super insight into an integral part of our history. You could almost smell the aroma of Churchill's cigars!
