This campsite is set amidst a beautiful cider farm orchard, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. The orchard is home to a variety of apple trees, which are used to produce delicious cider on site. Visitors can explore the orchard, learn about the cider-making process, and even sample some of the farm's products. The campsite itself features well-maintained pitches, modern amenities, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Liked: We loved the site! Beautiful pitches, the softest grass I've ever camped on. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the on-site entertainment and social facilities were fab - we didn't leave the campsite for 3 days! Disliked: It would be nice if cars were asked to remove to the carpark after kit was dropped off - at times it felt as if we were camping in a carpark! Also, the toilet and shower facilities weren't really sufficient for the number of campers, although I know that on the weekend that we were there, there was an issue with the booking system. Finally, a toilet/shower cleaning rota would be beneficial as they weren't always as clean as one would expect, although this may also have been related to the booking issue.
Liked: Leave as you arrived rules ensured the tents were kept clean and we had an even ground for the evening socials, clean shower and toilet, lovely relaxed vibe and the homegrown cider was incredible. Disliked: Lights in shower and better lock and more toilet facilities down the far end of the Orchard.
Liked: A beautiful site, out of the way of main road so no car noise. We went on an evening they had live music and were serving food which was lovely, and the cider tasting room open for a cold pint. Pitches in the orchard were very spacious and felt quite private. Useful amenities including toilets & showers, and an outdoor washing up station. We didn't use it but the tasting room also opened in the morning for coffee. A great site that we can't wait to use again.
This is a great place to camp. (In between the apple trees which acts as shelter) Has a bar, fire pits, seating, shower, toilets washing up area .Really well set up and a great place to camp. Different flavour Cider on tap and a tasting session. Motorcycle friendly. What's not to like.....
Beautiful campsite, nice clean spacious pitches with decent facilities. Great selection of ciders on offer and staff were very friendly. There was live music and a food van while we were there and the atmosphere was lovely!
Liked: Friendly staff, lots of space per pitch, great Cider. Adult only so peaceful stay. Great walking area. Disliked: Narrow road to travel on. Lack of toilets and the showers left a bit to be desired.
Good for kids
