Excellent collection of military aviation history, hidden in the middle of nowhere, near Norwich airport. There is a carpark at the front. For fans of any kind of military aviation, from hardcore fanatics to laymen. There is a Vulcan nuclear bomber here which is worth the (very reasonable) price of admission alone. And they have an English Electric Lightning, a Jaguar and a Nimrod, plus a host of other veteran third generation fighters. Oh! And a Harrier! Lots to see, lots to read, lots to learn. Even though the actual foot print of the place isn't massive, you can spend a decent amount of time looking at everything. There is also a decent canteen too. The shop has a small selection of die cast toys, models and the usual guff you'd expect in a museum shop. Well worth a trip out. Try to pick a sunny day as most of the big stuff is outside.

Wonderful aviation museum crammed full of interesting exhibits and a great selection of aircraft. Visited with my 8yr old son and he completed the children's quiz, & we had a tour of the Nimrod which I'd highly recommend. Great gift shop and a good selection of used books & magazines to buy as well.

Visited on an unseasonable cold and wet day in the middle of July. A small but interesting museum on the outskirts of Norwich. There are planes outside - some of which can be toured for an additional fee (PS3/adult). Wear water proof shoes if ground is wet as access to the planes is on grass. The inside of the museum tells the history of the RAF bases in the area. Plus a history of Norwich airport. It looks small, but there are rooms hidden throughout. The cafe was excellent value for money compared to other places we have visited. A v reasonable price for teas, coffees, cold drinks and sandwiches. Staff were lovely - I think they were mostly volunteers - but they are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.

**Norwich Aviation Museum - A Hidden Gem for Aviation Enthusiasts** I recently visited the Norwich Aviation Museum, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The museum offers a fascinating journey through aviation history, with an impressive collection of aircraft and memorabilia. Whether you're a dedicated aviation enthusiast or just curious about the history of flight, this museum has something for everyone. The highlight for me was the opportunity to see a variety of aircraft up close. The museum's collection is well-maintained, and the exhibits are informative, giving visitors a real sense of the technological advancements in aviation over the years. The staff and volunteers were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, enhancing the overall experience. They were eager to share insights and answer any questions, which added a personal touch to the visit. Their enthusiasm for aviation is truly infectious. The museum is also family-friendly, with interactive displays that can engage visitors of all ages. The on-site cafe is a nice spot to relax and reflect on the visit, offering refreshments and a view of the airfield. Overall, the Norwich Aviation Museum is a must-visit if you're in the area. It's a well-curated, educational, and enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in aviation or history.

My grandson who is 7 took me for Father's Day. As I fly myself I'm interested in any form of aviation. Excellent value and the cafe was not overpriced either which makes a pleasant change. We had a tremendous day and will be back. Can thoroughly recommend.
