This tranquil nature reserve in Oxfordshire features a beautiful wildflower meadow, woodland, and a pond, providing a habitat for a variety of wildlife, including butterflies, bees, and birds.
A wonderful open space for all. Car park is currently being enlarged and given a proper service and the addition of the new pavilion is a wonderful addition. We have brought the children and dog here for many years, long may it be retained for the locals to enjoy. Quiet, peaceful and lovely views too.
A beautiful meadow spoilt by selfish, socially irresponsible dog walkers that routinely bring their animals to foul public places and leave without clearing it up despite there being numerous bins provided for this very purpose. It would seem some people even believe this facility is available for their exclusive with one particularly ignorant dog walker asking my mother why she was there since she "doesn't even have a dog" and various people grumbling when I perfectly legally ride my bike there. Interestingly these same people seem think it's perfectly OK when people on local teams drive and park their cars directly on the green because they are too lazy to walk from the car park with a kit bag. The dog walkers over-inflated sense of entitlement extends to them believing they are permitted to litter the entrances of the meadow with plastic water bottles to provide drinking water for their dogs because they are too lazy to bring it with them or carry it. In short it's a perfectly lovely space ruined by a set of local do-as-you-likies who have consciously disregard societal norms because they are either selfish, stupid or both.
Great place for a walk and take the dogs
Great place to walk your dog and relax watching the cricket on a summers evening
This park is a lovely big open space with nice views of the surrounding hills. I was here taking part in the Clanfield Challenge 12km run, as the park played host to the race HQ.
A large, well kempt area with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Some reviews I've read describe it as enclosed; if your dog is a runner or has recall issues and you're looking for a completely safe and secure venue, this isn't the place. Nonetheless, it's a very nice place for a walk.
