Leafy conservation area & metropolitan square with a play area, water fountain, shelter & lawns.
A nice little park. The playground is relatively small but entirely adequate for a toddler. And it's usually quieter than the bigger nearby playgrounds in London Fields and Hackney Downs, which is helpful sometimes. There is also a section of the park with seating, and a small field area, too. Close to a Sainsburys, for what it's worth.
Small patch with a modernised toddler's playground, mature trees, scattered shrubs and a formal flower bed ( or 2 ) Modestly appealing with some noteworthy surrounding Georgian era residential buildings. Pleasantly nondescript, effortlessly unmemorable.
Update: New playground with sand. I was here till 8pm last night and it was open. So 6pm timing is incorrect. Beautiful garden park area with lovely playgrounds for young kids.
Lovely Georgian square in the heart of old Clapton with a great playground and entertaining pigeons and seagulls fighting it out for scraps
Love this square in the heart of hackney. The playground has had a decent update since I was here last and is fun for smaller groups of kids up to age 8/9 nothing much for older kids or adults to exercise on. Looking good even in the depths of winter. The square and surrounding buildings are of historical importance too and there is a great coffee shop on the corner.
A nice local park with two sections. One with benches and green area and the other including a play area for children plus a grassy area ideal for a kick about with football or other field sports. Get busy in the summer with more folks taking advantage of picnic opportunities with the kids and family.
