This 12-acre park features a playground, skate park, and sports facilities, including a football pitch, tennis courts, and a bowling green. Visitors can also stroll through the beautiful gardens, visit the sensory garden, or take a leisurely walk around the pond. The park is also home to the Bury Art Museum and the East Lancashire Railway.
A lovely park, great for a short walk. It has a beautiful large angling pond with ducks and geese which is lovely to walk around. A playpark, basketball and tennis courts all available also. A popular dog walking location. Would recommend for those wanting a short walk to stretch legs and enjoy some nice scenery.
What a very tranquil space. I walked there most mornings I was staying in Bury. Could just sit and contemplate life in beautiful surroundings. I also noticed that the people who used the park were most friendly.
Great playground, exercise area, and skate park! If going with little kids it's best to go in the morning before bigger kids arrive. The lake is gorgeous to especially when the people remote control boats come out to play ! Lovely reasonably priced cafe and good toilet there when its open. Good day out, highly recommend as there is lots of parking and the Icecream van is cheap to!
I loved it, was extremely good for the family with kids.
Loved it here, nice place, great for the dogs and it was clean and tidy.
Nice little park. Had a venture up to the Lido where there were little RC model boats having fun and some racing a circuit. The park was okay. Plenty of field space for dogs and kids to run about. Plenty of parking too.
