We stopped for coffee and cake and found a few little interesting shops. It's a nice little town and there are a few other points of interest nearby like the church and Sandy Beach which was used to test the Bouncing Bombs used during WW2.
It is such a beautiful example of a Victorian "sea side" retreat, it has advanced it's charm in to modern society with wonderful bistros, restaurants and bars. The open air pool is actively used by all ages . Good coastal walks. The sunsets are jaw dropping. Really is a wonderful part of the UK .

Small beach, full of pebbles, muddied water. There is free parking after 6 pm right opposite to the beach and you might get one if you are lucky otherwise you got to walk. We came as a group of 13 people and had good fun as the weather was fantastic. There is a good cafe shop right opposite to the beach There are very little shops near the beach but it has a lovely long walk shores for a mile . The view from the lookout was very good. Not suitable for kids to play or to get wet in beach but the beach is worth coming only for its sunset
