The viewpoint is surrounded by lush greenery and is a popular spot for walkers, photographers, and nature lovers.
Great views across the lough and a beautiful drive through Navar forest with deer sightings throughout. Easy drive and good parking on arrival. Can be chilly but the panoramic vista view warms the soul.
Beautiful place, very positive, you can walk there and admire the charming views. I recommend it.
Most fabulous destination I have ever gone, no words to explain how wonderful it is... Perfect and amazing view point, in a sense of real words.
Wow! A long and narrow road leads to this viewpoint as well as a path climbing up the hill. I took the road option as I didn't have time for the walk. A few cyclists and pedestrians as well as many in cars also. Worth the narrow drive to see the view. On a clear day it is stunning. Beautiful. Lots of room to park your car and have a walk around. Highly recommended!
Located along the Lough Navar Forest Drive, the view point is a pleasant surprise. Roomy car park, interpretation boards and benches all help you drink in the amazing views of the Lough and surrounding landscape.
I have driven past these cliffs many times and yesterday we decide to follow the Forest Drive route to the viewpoint. Once you're off the main road the roads are a bit narrow and some are one way only. There are a few ramps in the road so sensible driving is a must but if you look around at the scenery you won't want to rush. Stunning! Well worth a visit.
