We have just returned from a few days in Truro staying at Clifton's. Peter and Norbert were perfect host with advise and details of different places for us to visit. Breakfast was fabulous and our room was very clean everything we needed was there. We will definitely return next time we are in Truro.
Had a lovely 2 days at Clifton's. A perfect spot with an easy stroll into town. Peter & Norbert were lovely hosts. The room was spotless & the breakfasts were delicious. We hope to visit again.
Absolutely perfect!! We've booked a few days here as we're attending a bit of a 'do' at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro and Clinton's more than hits the spot. It a 10 minute stroll to City Centre with the rest of Cornwall within easy reach by car, or public transport for that matter. Clinton's itself is really nice, very clean & very comfortable. Our hosts Peter & Norbert are very warm and welcoming and do a very good job, and their breakfasts are legendary, everything cooked to order from fresh ingredients. Our room was beautifully prepared, spotless with everything you could need, we'll happily come back again, and very probably will, next time for a lot longer.
My husband and I stayed at Cliftons overnight when we went to a concert at the Hall for Cornwall. Peter and Norbert are true professionals and everything about our stay spoke of our hosts going over and above to ensure their guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. We could not recommend it highly enough and will definitely return when we next choose to stay over in Truro. They even advised us which taxi service to use. Thank you very much indeed!
Overnight stay in Truro with family. Comfortable, clean rooms and modern en suite shower rooms. Parking on site. The owners were very welcoming and cooked an excellent breakfast. Cliftons is conveniently located for access to Truro on foot. Would recommend.
Took a weeks vacation at this splendid hotel. Met by Norbert on arrival, very welcoming & knowledgeable regarding the area. Room was clean & well stocked. Although never met Peter directly his full breakfast was superb, all locally sourced & cooked to perfection. Location of hotel is ideal for anyone visiting Cornwall as we found it to central to everyway. Definitely a 5* establishment, highly recommended.
