An interesting historic site which is worth visiting if passing by. The site is small but has an impressive motte and ruins upon it. The views from the top are spectacular on a good day. There is one information board and a picnic bench in the site. If you wish to climb up to the top of the motte you will need good mobility because the steps are both steep and rough.
Good for a quick stop off on the road. They is a shop right beside it which is handy for parking and you can keep an eye on the car while you explore.
