Cobbs Clough is a picturesque valley in the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, England. It is surrounded by rolling hills, woodlands, and rugged moorland, offering scenic views and walking trails. The valley is home to the River Noe, which flows gently through the landscape, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The area is rich in wildlife, with sightings of deer, birds, and other species common. Cobbs Clough is a popular spot for hikers, nature lovers, and those seeking a peaceful retreat from urban life.
Great for walks, full of wildlife (woodpeckers, owls, toads). It connects to the Tawd Valley Park at the bottom of the Clough. Please be aware that there is soft sinking mud down towards the bottom just off from the path, there used to be warning sign posts, but think they have rotted and became unrecognisable over time. New housing estate is encroaching towards the Clough from the side. Hopefully, this won't take away from its beauty.
A great place to visit, walk and take in the pleasant surroundings......
Good parking spot
