We walked here a couple of times and can say contrary to the brochure, it's a fairly hard trek but it's well worth it
We enjoyed this popular walk uphill to the loch. We didn't make it around the hill as it got a bit nippy for our wee one but I bet it has even better view. Fairly easy path but still wear your boots!
A truly amazing open air swimming pool at the end of a deceptively long, hard trek. Well worth it but it was a long way up that hill. Lots of cleggs (horse flies) and some midges. But when you arrive and plunge into that amazing water, it is bliss. Bring a picnic. And enjoy. Did I mention it is a long walk?
Really enjoyed this walk not bad on the legs great scenery wildlife also had lochan at the top where you could do the New craze of wild swimming if you choose. Water is shallow our boxer dog Ayda loved it bounced all the way up and down went for a swim there was no sheep around when we were there so she was allowed off the lead temporarily although I would make sure their is no sheep anywhere near where you are going to Be walking before letting dog off lead
Well worth the walk
Quite a walk but worth it for the views at the top!
